{ GR IV Experience first-class image quality in a compact body - with this premium compact camera that combines state-of-the-art technology and purist design. Newly developed, super-flat high-performance lens The RICOH GR IV is equipped with a newly designed GR lens 18.3 mm F2.8, which combines the highest image quality with a slim design. The angle of view of 28 mm (35 mm equivalent) and the large maximum aperture of F2.8 are retained. The lens consists of seven lenses in five groups, including glass-molded aspherical elements and high-index, low-dispersion glass. This produces high-contrast, high-resolution images with sharpness right into the corners, while distortion and chromatic aberration are minimized. High-quality, high-resolution images The new back-illuminated APS-C CMOS sensor works with the GR ENGINE 7 image processor to deliver fine tonal gradations, high resolution and low image noise**. With approximately 25.74 megapixels, it produces exceptionally detailed images. The integrated RICOH acceleration unit optimizes image data from the sensor and enables ISO 204800, perfect for shooting in extremely low light. Advanced SR (Shake Reduction) mechanism The five-axis SR mechanismeffectively compensates forcamera shake when shooting.Shift blur in macro shots is also reduced - up to six exposure steps in the center of the image. *Measurement according to CIPA standard 2024: six steps in the center of the image, four at the edge. Fast and precise autofocus Thanks to the new lens bayonet and optimized start sequence, the switch-on time is only approx. 0.6 seconds - a record in the GR series. High-speed lens drivers and fast sensor data readout ensure precise, fast focusing, even in low light. Phase-based autofocus provides optimum speed, accuracy and coverage. Compact, slim and ergonomic design The body of the GR IV is compact, slim and functional. The thumb rest on the back provides a secure, comfortable grip, while the rearranged buttons and mode dial allow for easier operation. The robust, high-strength magnesium alloy body guarantees durability during shooting and transport. Flexible exposure mode setting The new Program Auto Ex function allows you to switch instantly from program mode to aperture priority or aperture priority with a simple turn of the control dials. The new Snap Distance-Priority AE (Sn) mode enables targeted depth of field for snapshots - perfect for creative shots. Cinema mode for cinematic shots The new Cinema mode of the Image Control function gives shots a nostalgic film atmosphere (either yellow or green). In addition to standard parameters such as saturation, hue, brightness and contrast, the strength and size of the effects can also be adjusted. User-defined settings can be saved as a separate mode. Bluetooth® and WLAN dual communication With Bluetooth® and WLAN, the GR IV connects easily to smartphones and tablets. The GR WORLD app enables image transfer, remote control and location transmission, exclusively for the GR series. High-resolution LCD monitor with optimum outdoor visibility The 3-inch LCD monitor with approx. 1,037,000 pixels reduces reflections and light scattering thanks to its air gapless design. The outdoor monitor setting ensures perfect visibility in both sun and shade, while the auto-brightness function automatically adjusts the screen brightness. Additional functions Newly applied anti-stain and anti-static coating on the UV/IR cut filter in front of the image sensor, in addition to the proven ultrasonic vibration mechanism to improve the dust removal of the DR II (Dust Removal II) system Full HD video recording (1920 × 1080 pixels, 60 frames per second) in H.264 formatFormat Individual assignment of the front and rear dials as well as the exposure compensation button in the selected exposure mode - in addition to customizing the assignable functions of the ADJ dial and Fn button RAW data development in the camera after RAW shots, including parameter adjustment and output as JPEG file Built-in memory with large capacity of approx. 53 GB Wide-angle converter GW-4 (optional), extends the angle of view to 21 mm (equivalent to 35 mm, ultra-wide angle) Compatibility with the newly developed RICOH GF-2 - an extremely compact flash unit(optional accessory, available at the same time as the GR IV) Crop mode, with which 35 mm (15 MP) or 50 mm (7 MP) equivalent shots can be taken
